A compact, easy-to-use lure retriever designed to recover stuck or snagged lures quickly. The heavy lead body sinks fast to reach bent hooks or snags, while the multiple metal loops give you many snag points to free and retrieve lost tackle. Finished in bright red for visibility on the water.

Key features

  • Weight: about 1 kg (≈35.3 oz) — heavy enough to descend quickly and stay put against currents.
  • Rope: 10 metres (≈393.7 inches) of durable line for reaching deep or distant snags.
  • Color: red for high visibility.
  • Material: solid lead body for reliable sinking performance.
  • Retrieval points: more than 10 metal loops attached to the body, providing many contact points to hook and free stuck lures.
  • Simple operation — lower the retriever, work it around the snag by jigging or rotating, then pull upward to free and recover your lure.

Typical uses

  • Recovering hooked lures from rocks, weedbeds, or other snags
  • Fishing from a boat, kayak, jetty, or shoreline when lures become stuck
  • A compact addition to any angler’s tackle kit for reducing lost tackle costs

Step-by-step use

  1. Attach the retriever

    • Attach the retriever to main line using the the big loop of the retriever.
  2. Lower the retriever

    • Lower the weighted lead body down the water toward the suspected snag. Keep control of the line; let the retriever strongly knock the stuck lure.

  3. Work the loops

    • Jig, wiggle and rotate the retriever so the metal loops pass over the stuck lure or hook. Use short, firm upward pulls and slight side-to-side motions to try to hook the lost lure on one of the loop
  4. Pull up carefully

    • When you feel the lure catch on a loop, pull steadily and slowly — avoid sudden jerks. Keep the line tight and lift the retriever and snag together. If it resists, change angle and try again.
  5. Change angle if needed

    • If the lure won’t free, lower the retriever again and try approaching from a slightly different angle or location. Sometimes a different orientation will free the lure.
